저는 편안하고 따뜻한 분위기 속에서 수강생분들이 부담 없이 영어로 말할 수 있도록 돕는 것을 참 좋아합니다.
저는 YBM, 민병철 같은 주요 성인 어학원을 비롯해 여러 대학과 기업체에서 십수 년간 다양한 수강생분들을 지도해 왔습니다.
영어 실력을 높이기 위한 노력의 결과로 토플(TOEFL)과 아이엘츠(IELTS)에서 고득점을 받은 뒤, 영국 윔블던에서 Teacher's Refresher Course를 수료하면서 교재에만 머무르는 영어가 아닌 진짜 입이 터지고 귀가 뚫리는 실용 영어 수업을 지향하게 되었습니다.
일상에서 더 자연스럽게 영어로 대화를 나누고 싶으시거나, 비즈니스 현장에서 한층 편안하고 매끄럽게 소통하고 싶으신 분들 모두에게 든든한 페이스메이커가 되어 드리겠습니다.
강의 외에도 캐나다 기업의 사내 번역가로 일하고 해외 한국상공회의소에서 근무하며 실제 글로벌 비즈니스 현장을 깊이 경험했습니다. 그래서 교과서 표현을 넘어 실제 현장에서 쓰이는 생생한 영어와 문화적 차이를 다루는 데도 큰 즐거움을 느낍니다.
한국에서 영어를 스스로 익히고 가르쳐 왔기에, 영어로 말할 때 느껴지는 답답함이나 쑥스러움을 누구보다 잘 알고 있습니다. 여러분이 각자의 속도에 맞춰 편안하게 입을 떼고 실력을 쌓아 갈 수 있는 따뜻한 수업을 만들어 드릴게요.

Hello, everyone!
My name is Jinhwa. I am a friendly and approachable teacher who loves helping students speak English with confidence and ease.
I have over 15 years of experience teaching English to adult learners at major language institutes like YBM and Min Byung-chul Language Institute, as well as at universities and companies.
After achieving high scores on exams like TOEFL and IELTS, I went on to complete a Teacher's Refresher Course in Wimbledon, UK. This experience truly opened my eyes to teaching practical, real-world speaking and listening.
If you are looking to speak more naturally in daily conversations or handle professional communication with ease in business settings, I am more than happy to guide you on your journey.
In addition to teaching, I have worked as an in-house translator for a Canadian company and at the Korean Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia. Having used English extensively in real business settings, I completely understand how challenging it can be to transition from textbook English to actual workplace communication.
Having mastered English step by step right here in Korea, I deeply understand the struggles and hesitations Korean learners face. That’s why I look forward to providing a comfortable space where you can practice speaking naturally at a pace that works best for you.
